How does FSC® protect the rainforest?
Lifting your vibes through yoga should never come at the planet’s expense. When we choose plant-based materials, it matters that they are responsibly grown.
FSC® (the Forest Stewardship Council) audits forest and farm supply chains to make sure they protect ecosystems, honor Indigenous rights, and support fair labor. Without standards like this, companies may clear or burn heritage forests to gain land, destroying biodiversity, displacing communities, and releasing huge amounts of carbon.
Under FSC® rules, farms must avoid deforestation, farm ecologically, respect native peoples’ rights, and pay fair wages. When you choose an FSC certified yoga mat, you know the supply chain has been carefully reviewed at every stage. That's why supporting FSC® materials encourages better industry practices and helps protect the climate we all depend on.
Thoughtfully Low-Waste and Sustainable
Yogo carefully examines every detail of our products and ensures they are as green as possible. Besides high standards in our primary material, Yogo also uses recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable paper packaging with a low waste design, and recycled fibers for our mats’ attached straps and labels from water bottles and other sources of waste.
