"Smudging" is performed by briefly lighting the end of a dried plant material, then allowing it to burn out and exude smoke like incense, which can be gently waved throughout a space. Pair this with tuning in to the calming and cleansing aroma, while focusing on cleansing energy.
I really like this mat! I tend to use the darker side. I've noticed that it does have a really strong rubber/chemical smell but I'm assuming it will dissapate after more usage. For now, I tend to attach it to the outside of my duffle/bag or wrap it in a bag so that my clothes don't take on that smell.
